CONGRATULATIONS and welcome to your newest chapter in life. I'm so thankful that you are considering me to be the one to capture this special moment in your life. I want to assure you that you’re in the best hands and we will do everything possible to make your maternity session dreams come true. So let me explain a little bit about the process from start to finish.

We have a studio full of gowns, bodysuits, crowns, and so much more to make your vision come to life. Maternity sessions typically take place between 32-36 weeks; however, it is best to book 1-2 months in advance to ensure our availability. Your maternity session can take place throughout your pregnancy, that time is just suggested to allow for a nice round belly and to ensure the safety of our moms. Once you have booked your session I highly recommended finding a professional hair and makeup artist for your special day, it is not necessary but is encouraged! Now you may be wondering what about my spouse and children? We suggest for everyone to bring two options to wear, both light and dark semi-formal attire (button ups, V-necks, slacks, jeans). For girls we recommended a light cream dress. Bare feet are encouraged for sessions, but if you do decide to wear them dress shoes for everyone is preferred. Moms, we do suggest you bring nude undergarments and some of the garments are see through. Most of our closet is OSFM so no need to worry. Another suggestion is to get a mani-pedi prior to your session to have an overall glam from head to toe! Please remember to iron all the outfits that are being worn.

The day of your session, I ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your session to allow time to touch up your makeup and make sure everything is ready to shoot. Once we start the session, I have a set workflow for you and of course your family to get a wide variety of poses and expressions. I am pro nude, but do not feel like you must if it will make you uncomfortable. We strive to make you have the best experience and to deliver exactly what you've dreamed of! Your session will range from 1 to 2 hours and don't worry you have time for water, snacks, and bathroom breaks.

Once we are finished with the session, I will invite you to look at the samples located around the studio so you can get an idea of what products you may like. You will have the option to choose an in-person ordering appointment or a virtual one. I highly recommend an in-person one, because it allows up to design and order your products right there and then! And that’s it! You killed your session and now have these beautiful images that captured this amazing point in your life. I'm so excited to make all your dreams come true and can't wait to meet you!
